Job Description

MDM Specialist

Birmingham – Hybrid

£50,000 – 6 Month FTC

Mainstay are working with a leading service provider to look for a MDM Specialist to provide senior level technical support services to users and organizations for the EUC handheld standard services.

The successful candidate should have strong MDM infrastructure experience and as well as extensive experience with ITIL based working practises. They will have experience working with Apple Business Manager, Samsung Knox and Android Enterprise.


* Work with Problem Management to document root cause and potential solutions to problems and recommend changes (including fundamental ones) to system configurations to prevent recurrences.

* Identify, distribute, and action workload and tasks across operations teams and delivery partners in accordance with established Service Request workflows.

* Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information in support of Service Request completions

* Define and establish targets and timelines for the completion of work package requests, tasks, and activities as the technical support lead, drafting technical and/or administrative documentation as required to support contingency plans, risk assessments for delivery and Service Acceptance (if non-standard).

* If requested/required articulate and communicate to delivery partners the assignment, work package, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or delivery issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.

* Standard Service including installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining customer live environments to train and instruct team members and subordinates.

* MDM infrastructure experience

* Strong experience with ITIL based working practices

* Knowledge of Active Directory, group policy and MDM configuration profiles

* Knowledge of mobile application management

* Knowledge of Windows Autopilot

* Knowledge of CES+ accreditation process

* Some Experience in working with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or virtual application

* Use of systems including, but not limited to: Microsoft Intune, Airwatch, Android Enterprise, Samsung Knox, Windows Server, Apple Business Manager, Mobile Device Configuration Policies (Airwatch/Intune), Service Now, Symantec End point protection, Samsung & Apple hardware managemen
