Polytec are looking for a Media Player Developer for our Saffron Walden based client. This is an office-based role and you will need to have a full UK driving licence due to their remote location.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Junior Developer/ recent Graduate.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop interactive multimedia players using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
* Implement features such as playback controls, audio and video playback, and compatibility with multiple file formats
* Ensure compatibility and optimal performance on a variety of devices
* Develop and integrate video streaming capabilities
* Integrate the player with other software and platforms
* Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise during development and after deployment
* Keep up to date with emerging web technologies
* Ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
* Write and maintain technical documentation
Requirements:
* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
* Able to develop and test applications that work across multiple browsers and devices
* Responsive design
* Experience with integrating HTML5 applications with APIs
* Strong understanding of user experience design principles and the ability to design and implement intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
* The ability to debug and troubleshoot code
* Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques
* Experience with software tools such as Bitbucket and Git
* Committed to ongoing learning and keeping up to date with the latest technologies and best practices
