    Network Design Engineer – Plymouth – Hybrid Working

    24 Month fixed term contract, Hybrid Working (required to attend Plymouth HQ, 1 day per fortnight)

    A national IT Managed Services Provider operating in the public sector is seeking a Network Design Engineer with project and design experience Fortinet SD WAN to join their 8-man professional services team responsible for delivery Enterprise scale network solutions

    Experience Required

    Experience in designing SD WAN Solutions (Fortinet SD WAN or similar)
    CCNP level Routing & Switching
    BGP, OSPF, VRS
    Enterprise Firewalls ( Fortigate, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Juniper or similar)
    Managing stakeholders

    Responsibilities

    Working with the Network Design Engineers to deliver SD WAN Solutions
    encompassing multiple technologies and technology layers within a single, enterprise network
    Provides High Level Design documentation, jointly delivers low level design with the Delivery team
    Works with the Cyber and Compliance teams to ensure secure, compliant design
    Design network redundancy for backup connectivity
    Provide escalation and support to engineering for critical business issues
    Designing management, monitoring, and support systems for Networks
