Job Description

Network Engineer, 23 Month FTC, £53,500, Manchester

Our longstanding client based in the centre of Manchester is currently recruiting for a Network Engineer to join their growing team on a 23 month FTC. The role has been created due to internal promotions, and there is a high likelihood that the contract will be extended or made permanent after the 23 months has been completed.

Your role will be to provide BAU support across the large estate, troubleshooting network issues, diagnosing network issues, and fixing any network faults. You'll also be responsible for liaising with 3rd party supplies for any network design, alongside supporting the Cyber Security team by using network security tooling, firewalls, IPS, etc.

Their current estate is being migrated from Cisco to Aruba, so they are looking for people with experience with either technology. Experience of Arista networking and F5 load balancers would be desirable. They are happy to provide training and support if you don't have experience with certain areas of tech.

What you will receive in return:

25 days holiday + bank holidays
Salary upto £53,500 (DOE)
Season ticket loans for public transport
Hybrid/flexible working (2 days in the office per week)
Ability to expense parking when working on site
9% + Pension contributions
Opportunity for the role to go permanent!
