Role: Network Integration Engineer
Location: Birmingham – Onsite
Salary: up to £45,000

Premier Group are currently engaged with a large established client in the Birmingham area, who require a Network Integration Engineer to join their existing team. This candidate will work closely with a team of engineers across a broad range of technical areas.
 
The successful Network Integration Engineer will act as a point of contact for systems performance issues, identifying and fixing the system faults whilst also liaising with 3rd party maintenance contractors.
 
Key Responsibilities – Network Integration Engineer:

Monitoring and reporting on the performance of systems
Support with fault diagnosis and correction, document fault finding and resolution
Ensure changes are managed through a change control process
Act as technical customer and point of contact for updates to existing systems and new systems – Support their introduction into service, testing and commissioning
Work with suppliers and stakeholders to maintain and improve performance of systems. 
Experience – Network Integration Engineer:

Knowledge of network systems and protocols – Cisco preferable
Experience of configuration of networks and network hardware
Fault finding and repairs on communication systems
Knowledge of fibre communication systems
Basic UNIX, DOS and Windows
Experience with HTML, CSS, and working knowledge of JavaScript and XML
Use of Microsoft Office to create and manage records
