Network Security Technical Architect

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Technical Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of our network. The Network Security Technical Architect will work closely with our network engineering and operations teams to ensure that our network is secure and meets all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement network security architecture that meets business requirements and regulatory compliance.

Evaluate and recommend security products and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption solutions.

Develop and maintain network security policies, procedures, and standards.

Monitor network traffic for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and testing.

Work with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and ensure that security policies are being followed.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to network engineering and operations teams.

Stay up-to-date with the latest network security trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security architecture and design.

Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.

Experience with security assessment tools such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and log analysis tools.

Experience with security compliance frameworks such as PCI, HIPAA, and SOX.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCIE Security are a plus.

Strong understanding of SDWAN concepts and architectures
