Job Description

We can consider offering sponsorship to UK based candidates

Are you currently a Systems Engineer with Linux networking stack configuration and management experience, experienced in supporting and improving network sytems and tooling around fault monitoring, performance and capacity? Do you bring knowledge of TCP / IP, FCAPS and SNMP?

If so and you are looking to showcase your skills, are ready to take technical ownership and drive improvements for our OSS tools within networks then please get in touch to find out how we can support your career aspirations.

Reporting to the Network Design & Assurance Manager, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for Network OSS tooling in Gigaclear. The Networks OSS Engineer will be expected to work collaboratively with design and delivery teams to maximise the use of OSS tools and best practices for the management of equipment, operational activities and network services, to support processes such as automation, monitoring, capacity and performance within Networks and will own OSS products and development as part of continuous service improvements. On a technical front, you’ll work closely with colleagues and peers in both Networks and Systems to ensure that Network OSS tools are fit for purpose.

If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real difference to rural communities and people who have been left behind for decades by the rest of the UK telecoms market, Gigaclear is the place to be.

Here at Gigaclear, we aspire to tackle connectivity inequality and make life more digitally advanced. We are bridging the digital divide – bringing all the benefits of ultrafast fibre broadband, directly to homes and businesses across the UK.
