Salary & Benefits:

This highly successful, global engineering and manufacturing group are seeking to secure the services of an experienced Network Lead / Network Team Lead / Network Manager who has grown through the Technical Network track and is now seeking a new dynamic.

This role will require a strong and capable technical background gained in the Network arena, which will also allow you to elevate you functional and man-management skills, driving your team towards best practice and proactive Network Support.

You will also Support of the IS strategy and relevant roadmaps, review of IS policies of the Group IT (Networks). Identify and make progress against Group IT projects and strategies. Maintenance, Audits and Major incident process

Direct report objectives agreed with relevant stakeholders, in place and tracked.

Technical Experience:

Cisco Routing & Switching, Cisco Firewalls, Meraki Wi-Fi, Network Protocols, BGP, RIP, OSP, Multicast, IPv6, Firewalls, MPLS and MPLS based VPN solutions Implementation, Network Monitoring Systems (NMS), BAU, ITIL, PRINCE and ideally ISO(phone number removed)

Functional Requirements:

Network Team Management, Staff objectives, 1:1's, Support, Mentoring, Coaching and KPI's, working within SLA's and within ITIL, PRINCE and, ideally, ISO(phone number removed) environments, assessing a broad range of information solutions and products, deliver solutions that promote organisational benefit, business acumen understanding of client strategy and ability to design systems to deliver that strategy, taking ownership of a projects, leading a team through the design & implementation of projects

Your experience will include:

Experience with Cisco Switches, Routers, Firewalls and Meraki Wi-Fi.
Network Team Management i.e. Staff objectives, 1:1's, Support, Mentoring, Coaching and KPI's.
Knowledge of working within SLA's and within ITIL, PRINCE and, ideally, ISO(phone number removed) environments.
Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products.
Deliver solutions that promote organisational benefit.
Business acumen understanding of client strategy and ability to design systems to deliver that strategy.
Experience of taking ownership of a projects, leading a team through the design & implementation of that project
Team Player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutionsYour key responsibilities will be:

Taking ownership for providing specialist design support relating to your technology portfolio (Cisco & Meraki)
Network Administration for global networks, managing BAU, support and personal development of the team.
Lead in designing, specifying and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
Exploiting technology and use knowledge of IT solutions to drive change and support business process assisting with the integration and initial implementation of solutions including testing and assurance.
Identify and document risks, issues, or critical success factors for immediate or eventual remediation action.
Maintain and promote appropriate design standards & development methodologies within the wider business
Create effective and efficient control patterns, conduct risk evaluations, and uphold policies and standards to enable the enterprise to conduct business at an appropriate and known risk level
