Integrations Delivery Developer – Europe – (Node.JS, SOAP API)
Job Location: Fully Remote (Europe)

Bring Your Skills and Passion to Life at i6:
Your Day to Day @ i6 Systems
You will be working closely with our external customers as well as internal stakeholders such as Solutions Architects, Product Managers and Developers. You will be working on integrating airport feeds from all the major airports and airlines in the world. Besides airport feeds you will be looking at developing and managing integrations with government organisations (IRS in the US, Spanish Customs, etc), ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and many other partner companies (Google, Virgin, Shell).
In Your First Month You'll:
* You work in the Europe time zone and you start your day around 9:00 AM UK time or sooner
* Get familiarised with our codebase and processes, learn how things are structured and adapt and contribute to our remote, people focused culture
* Ship your first contributions as you work on small bugs or improvements, and doing your first PR reviews
* Begin to get to know our EMEA centric clients and start to understand the i6 Biosphere of products
Within 3 Months You'll:
* Start to play a key role in meetings with an external stakeholder and their technical teams, (either a government agency or organisation, an airport company, airline, or a partner
* Work independently, taking full ownership of your work, using your own initiative to solve complex problems
* Begin to create plans focused on integrating client systems with the i6 Biosphere (either an ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) or a custom integration)
* Ensure the customer system can integrate to our product domain model
* Help you team grow and improve and ensure a high-quality code base by regularly performing Peer Reviews and Pair Programming
* Deploy and monitor changes to staging or production environments
* Monitor the deployment and ensure that the integration maps to the domain model of the product and is error free
* Monitor existing integrations for alerts and errors and take swift action if required
* Update documentations or build new ones for the solutions developed for our customers
Within a Year You’ll:
* Be pivotal in leading and driving the delivery of all product integrations
* Play a significant role in client meetings and integration planning
* Have a deep understanding of our complete Biosphere and Systems
* Be our go to expert for EMEA based integrations
* Constantly improve and evolve our processes, deployments, and integrations
* Develop multiple solutions for a range of clients, some built from scratch using the deep knowledge you have learnt over the last year
* Be a key member of the i6 team, playing an active role within our growing community
What you’ll Bring to The Role:
* Prepared to work in an Europe/EU time zone with regular cross over and collaboration with clients across the EMEA region
* Buckets of energy, commitment, and motivation
* Deep understanding of various transport methods and protocols (APIs, Queues, SFTP, XML, SOAP, Sockets)
* Excellent communication and client facing skills
* High levels of analytical and planning skills and experience drawing up integration plans based on client requirements and technologies
* Outstanding problem-solving skills and confidence to tackle complex problems with little or no guidance
* A delight in being part of a multi-cultural, globally diverse highly collaborative team, always looking to learn, improve and help yourself and your team reach the next level

Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, TerraForm, Ansible, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure Cloud, Auth0
Main Tools: JIRA, Slack, Continuous Integration, Peer Review, Pair Programming, Sentry
