Role: Oracle Solutions Architect
Location: Remote + occasional visit – Manchester
Rate: £500 – £550 p/d
IR35 Status: Outside

Concept Resourcing have partnered up with an IT consultancy to deliver resource and build teams for high profile government department across the UK.

Oracle Solutions Architect Roles & Responsibilities:

The Oracle Solutions Architect will be responsible for defining requirements and owning the designs for all oracle platforms subject to migration within the VME-R and CMG suite. This will potentially include specifying the approach for moving Oracle database from midrange AIX and any associated endian conversations for migrating databases.
This includes mapping existing platforms and systems using oracle databases and ITT requirements gathering to support procurement.
They will need to work with the application teams to define the Current state architecture for these applications, work with the Lead Migration Arc to determine a treatment plan and deliver the Future State architecture – making up the ATP.
The Oracle Architect will be responsible for working with the business procurement team to define the technical requirements needed within the ITT for partner engagement.Oracle Solution Architect Must haves:

Strong background with application migrations
Strong experience with Oracle technologies (Oracle DB and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
Experience of migrating from midrange oracle to x86 oracle where appropriate.
Experience with large programmes (ex-public sector would be ideal)
