Job Description

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Performance Reporting Analyst to join one of the largest utilities company in the Midlands. We are offering a 12 month temporary contract opportunity starting as soon as possible, with an excellent day rate of £450-£500 per day (Inside IR35)

About the role

An exciting opportunity to work within the Green Recovery Programme team to deliver robust performance reporting and have accountability and influence over the programme.
Working with the PMO Business Lead this role is key in providing high quality Board reporting and insight to the Programme Director and the leadership team. The role holder will work collaboratively to identify areas for improvement and work with the relevant business areas to provide visibility of areas of risk & opportunity in order to drive performance improvements.
We are looking for an individual with the ability to manage stakeholders at a more senior level across Green Recovery whilst maintaining superb attention to detail. The role holder will be expected to carry out this role with limited support as well as presenting ideas, updates and proposals to senior stakeholders. They will be expected to manage multiple priorities at any one time and be skilled at managing expectations at all levels.
We are seeking a driven individual who can very quickly build a credible reputation and work with a number of teams to influence individuals and outcomes.
Development and production of both Board reports and performance reports accurately and timely for both performance and regulatory requirements.
Identifying opportunities for automation of reports and co-ordinating delivery.
Analysing data to provide quality insight, acting on the findings.
Clearly articulating required improvement initiatives with associated benefits which will drive performance improvements.

Key responsibilities will include:

The development and production of Board and performance reports, with input from relevant stakeholders, in a consistent and accurate manner.
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data that will be subject to regular audits.
Providing commentary and insight into programme performance.
Identifying opportunities for automation of reports and co-ordinating delivery.
Identifying areas for improvement and drawing key messages from the data to make evidence based recommendations.
Ensuring that lead performance measures are visible and embedded across the programmes to drive performance.
Working with the BI team to automate performance reports which will reduce manual intervention and non-value added time.

Experience:

Working within a complex programme.
Working within a performance reporting function.
Working with a broad range of business activities.
Producing reporting to tight timescales from multiple sources.
Rationalising report production and developing new requirements in corporate systems, accommodating new requests, both performance and regulatory.
Building effective working relationships with a diverse range of people.
Analysing data to identify areas of improvement that can bring benefit to the business.
Collaborating with various business areas to drive improvements in performance.
Managing improvement projects.

Capabilities:

Ability to develop BI reports.
Ability to develop in SAP and also Business Object.
A high level of integrity and personal motivation.
The ability to organise own work including prioritising and managing a high volume workloads, conflicting demands and deadlines.
The ability to quickly understand process in relation to data and in relation to the bigger picture.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex information and communicating it in appropriate formats.
Excellent attention to detail when manipulating data, producing reports and auditing.
Advanced Excel capability.
Excellence in building relationships, gaining credibility and ongoing stakeholder management at all levels
Be able to demonstrate effective communication and influencing skills.
Qualifications:

Academically strong with clear evidence of continued professional development.
A-level Maths / English or equivalent
Reporting background

Daily rate: £450-£500, depending on experience (Inside IR35)
