We are working an innovative design and development digital agency who have an excellent opportunity for a PHP Developer to join their rapidly growing team based in Belfast.

This role would suit a career focused PHP developer who is looking to progress their career and work with new tech.

Responsibilities:

– To be responsible for the development of internal and external customer-driven applications, including CMS configuration and development of business logic handling, back-end database integration and a wide variety of API integrations.
– Model data and workflows to fit the business requirements in order to design a solution that will deliver on the objectives.
– Work with databases using Raw MySQL, WordPress Query Builder and an ORM such as Doctrine or Illuminate
– Code websites and/or plugins from scratch, while adhering to coding standards.

Candidates skills/experience:

– Experience within a similar PHP Developer role
– Any experience within web-based application programming and / or database design/integration an advantage
– Knowledge of one or more of the following: MySQL, Doctrine ORM, WordPress, Symfony, Laravel, Linux, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Twig, Git.
– A passion for internet and related technologies
– Agency experience would be desirable however not essential.
