Job Description
My client are specialists in the travel industry. Going into 2023 they are looking to heavily invest into their tech stack. Because of this, they are looking for a PHP Laravel Developer to join their team.
They are based in Bath, and remote working is available. However, you do have to be based in the UK already and they can't provide visa sponsorship.
Key Tasks:
* Developing their CRM, Client Portal and Supplier Portal
* Improving efficiencies via new tech initiatives
* Developing new and exciting web launches
* Troubleshooting and maintaining existing sites
* Assisting with their current developer’s skillset as they move to and learn with Laravel.
* Testing and rolling out live releases of system improvements
Essential:
* Sound knowledge and experience of PHP & Laravel framework, MySQL, HTML + CSS/JS, Rest APIs, JQuery
* Experience in creating CMS driven websites
* Experience in testing/bug fixing/problem solving
Desirable:
* A knowledge/experience of Zend framework (their current framework)
* Undergraduate degree in relevant subject
* Mobile App development would be very beneficial
* Design skills would be beneficial
* Basic Linux skills beneficial / or server setup (AWS)
* Experience with payment gateways/ecommerce
* Some asp classic knowledge beneficial, but not required
