Job Description
Platform Engineer x 2 – DV Cleared – London – £675 a day
You will join a global IT consultancy who are supporting a central government agency. You will be part of a small platform team who are maintaining and progressing the client's virtual estate.
+++ Due to the nature of the end client you require active DV Clearance +++
You will:
Diagnose and solve problems with the system in live and non-production
Increase the efficiency of system deployments, freeing up more time for development opportunities
Automate 'from-the-ground-up' full system deployments using Ansible and other automated deployment tools
Assist the client in their 'Journey to the cloud' understanding Hybrid cloud and migration strategies
Understand the challenges of legacy workloads and how to 'lift and shift' from older environments to later technology
Facilitate the journey from Isolated and zone based networks to Zero Trust Implementation
Assist as part of a team on the design components of systems.

Virtualisation (VMWare)
Containerisation (Docker/Docker Compose)
Automation (Ansible)
