Experis is looking for an Employed Consultant to Join the team in London.

Title: Portfolio Lead

Location: London (2/3 days a week in Central London)

Salary: £95,000

We are actively looking to secure a Portfolio Lead to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

What You Need

Experience of Agile Delivery Management with a strong understanding of SCRUM and Kanban techniques. Experience with lean portfolio management and/or SAFe would be advantageous.
Must be able to provide delivery assurance over a large range of projects.
Must be happy to take a 'Hands On' approach and be able to help shape the Portfolio Management and delivery disciplines.
Must have sound commercial and financial skills i.e. dissect contracts and commercial proposals as well as negotiate with suppliers and manage supplier delivery.
Must be able to support growth within the business and recognise opportunities with new and current projects.
It is important that you will have come from and IT or technical portfolio background.
Excellent stakeholder skills and able to manage strong personalities.
Domain knowledge: Any experience of Home Office, other Government Departments, NHS, or working with Security services (police GCHG, NCA etc..) would be advantageous
Experience of DDaT and GS Service Manual aligned environments desirable

What You Will Do

As part of this role, you will be working alongside the Engagement Manager and Technical Assurance teams.
You will help to manage a portfolio of between £5-15m, over 30-50 projects across the year, with project budgets ranging from £100k-£5m.
Consider how best to deliver value and how to leverage the supplier community to maximum effect.
Manage the Portfolio budget.
