Practice Lead – Development Function
£60K – £75K
Hybrid – Cardiff (Flexible working)

Your role:
The Practice Lead is responsible for leading and managing the development function within the company. This includes overseeing the development of software applications, managing a team of developers, and ensuring that development projects are completed on time and within budget.
The Practice Lead will also be responsible for defining and implementing development best practices and staying up to date with the latest developments trends.
We are looking for people who have:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Demonstrable experience in a leadership role.
Excellent management skills, including the ability to and motivate a team of Developers.
Significant experience in software development, with a number of years of experience leading development teams.
Strong technical skills, including experience with a variety of programming languages and frameworks.
We are looking for people who are:
Leading and managing the development team, including setting goals and objectives, providing mentorship and guidance, and conducting performance evaluation.
Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry, and identifying opportunities for the organisation to leverage new technologies and trends.
Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Overseeing the development of software applications, including project planning, development, testing, and deployment.
