Job Description

Pricing Analyst

Contract: 6 months with potential for extension/permanent employment

£20-£25 PAYE per hour DOE (inside IR35)

Home working but with the option to work on site.  Some travelling to sites will be required.

The company is a leading business within the Engineering sector both in the UK and Internationally. They are specialists in the engineering of specialised components and systems for a wide variety of global markets.

The successful Pricing Analyst will be analysing the company’s product range and quoting process in an attempt to reduce these areas to achieve maximum efficiency.

Job Responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst:

Analyse and evaluate large volumes of data before presenting recommendations on the back of this
Facilitate and recommend opportunities for the simplification of the client’s product range working alongside specific customers.
Recommend opportunities to reduce the number of quotes that are being made and thereby achieving cost savings
Create segmentation of data with a view to making pricing recommendations
Manage and analyse the automated quoting process with the ability to present back in a logical, effective manner
Desired qualifications, competencies, skills & experience of the ideal Pricing Analyst:

Data/Mathematical related degree or relevant experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience of using data analysis applications such as SQL, Power BI etc would be an advantage
High degree of numeracy with good statistical skills to analyse trends and understand modelling techniques
High level of personal organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload, while maintaining focus on key objectives
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and written
