Principal Data Platform Engineer (Splunk) – Consultancy – UK Hybrid

Up to £95,000 + benefits (£110K in London)

The YourCode Group is proud to be partnered with one of the leading design consultancies in the United Kingdom, who are looking to expand their software engineering teams and work on a number of key projects related to the public sector environment. Our customer is working remotely, with a hybrid approach (1 day per week in the office max). Their main office is in Leeds, but they have an office in Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and London!

We are currently recruiting for a Principal Data Platform Engineer, specifically with Splunk and BI tool experience, to join their agile engineering teams to work on on Bespoke Solutions of enterprise-level greenfield products and applications that is utilised by millions of people on a weekly basis. This is a significant opportunity to work on real-world problems that you will experience personally in day-to-day life.

We are looking for a Data specialist who has knowledge of multiple data tools through the BI stack, but also someone who has a strong background in Splunk with regards to Cyber Security platforms. On top of your technical nuance you will have strong Stakeholder engagement and management skills, be involved presales and bidwork along with leading, mentoring and managing teams.

Responsibilities:

Act as a Technical SME across multiple Data platforms

Create bespoke solutions based on our client’s needs or enhance existing solutions that add real value

Work within an agile, collaborative, multidisciplinary team;

Prototype new functionality prior to committed development;

Deploy, integrate, and support critical solutions in a complex environment

Utilise the latest standards and approaches to solving problems;

Build great relationships with your team and stakeholders;

Work with the company's community to share best practice to ensure high standards.
