Principal Technical Support Engineer
My client is a global leader in communications technology by creating the world's most advanced networks and are now looking for a Principal Technical Support Engineer to join their team.
As the Principal Technical Support Engineer you will have comprehensive experience providing technical support to direct customers, resellers, and Field teams in resolving in-company product-related issues.
As the PTSE you will be the key contact and escalation point for assigned blue-chip enterprise wireless customers throughout the EMEA region. The role is fully remote but you MUST be
living in and have the legal right to work within the EU.
An excellent level of technical expertise in wireless networking is essential, as is a proven track record in managing the highest levels of escalations effectively from both a technical and customer experience perspective.
8+ years of experience in the networking space
5+ years work history in an enterprise Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) environment.
10+ years' experience providing technical support to direct customers, resellers, and Feld teams in resolving in-company product-related issues. 4ixing and resolving complex Layer 2/3
Fixing issues in multi-vendor environments.
C1/2 proficiency in English language Nice to have:
German language (R2 or above)
Relevant accreditations eg CINA, CIAP, CCJE, CCNP, NCP,
Excellent understanding and applied knowledge of TCP/IP, L3 routing, L2 switching, Multicast, Firewalls, QOS wireless technologies 802.11x, WLAN authentication, encryption, EAP, PSK, Radius, AAA, DNS
Working knowledge of Salesforce and Jira.
