Product Manager (5-month contract)

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join one of the world's biggest eCommerce platforms on an initial 5-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering product planning, design, development, documentation, and execution throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

* Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements and define the product vision

* Work closely with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and support to ensure quality control and meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals

* Define the product strategy and roadmap

* Deliver product requirement documents and marketing requirement documents with prioritized features and justification

* Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples

* Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product

* Perform product demos to customers and maintain expertise with respect to the competition

* Act as a leader within the company

* May work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities

* May set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals, develop sales tools and collateral, and brief and train the sales force

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Product Manager in eCommerce, preferably with previous eBay, Amazon, or similar platform experience

* Experience working with global teams

* Strong communication and leadership skills

* Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
