We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Debt team and provide customer-focused digital solutions.
We are passionate about making sure our operational colleagues can focus on supporting people both in and out of work, as well as making sure that people can manage their finances and are paid the right amount on time.
Our services enable the prevention and detection of fraud and error, and help customers manage and pay back any debt owing to DWP.
The new Debt Service will provide a multi-channel experience for customer so that they are empowered to manage their debts in a way that works for them and they can access the right support, when they need it. This means providing a service to 5 million customers, many of them vulnerable, and recovering over £2 billion per year.
You'll be involved in the whole product lifecycle, working with lead and senior product managers.
You'll also be involved in transforming the user journey and streamlining processes, shaping a more effective, efficient and tailored experience for our customers and colleagues. It's an amazing opportunity to leave a Product legacy across the whole of the public sector.
What skills and experience do you need to show us?
Able to use quantitative and qualitative data about users to turn user focus into outcomes.
Product Management and ownership activities within data technology environments.
Working collaboratively within an agile environment to steer the direction of the teams and deliver the best outcomes.
Supporting colleagues to take responsibility for their own learning and development.
Turning high level and roadmap concepts into actionable backlogs and tasks.
