ProductWriter (Polaris) Developer

Type: 6 months Contract

Location: Guildford, England

Environment: Remote

A global Insurance company are searching for a skilled ProductWriter (Polaris) developer to join their growing team. Specific experience using Solaris ProductWriter platform is a MUST have and experience within the insurance domain is also needed.

Main duties:

Mentor junior resources as and when appropriate
Drive technical knowledge sharing within team
Create detailed Technical Specification Documents for projects and review the same created by others
Develop and test products in ProductWriter to meet business functional and non-functional requirements
Review design of all tasks & projects to ensure design defects are captured, documented, communicated and shared at a very early stage of the project
Ensure all code adheres to the technical standards
Perform code reviews as appropriate
Ensure code review check-lists and standards are kept up to date

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Strong technical knowledge of new product design and build using ProductWriter and schema generated dictionaries, experience of coding using both.
Knowledge and experience of the full development lifecycle
Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Power Point, Team)
All of above require evidence of practical experienceDesirable:
