Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a global technology company who provide IT solutions for some big-name Fortune 500 and Global 200 Enterprises.

To be suitable for this role you will need to have relevant Project Management experience within the IT sector – ideally within a managed service provider.

The role is offered on a remote working basis however candidates will need to be based in Southern England as you will need to be commutable to their London and Devon offices.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of onsite customer projects including budget management, resource allocation and technical oversight and act as a key interface with customer stakeholders ensuring adherence to the companies service level agreements.

Your key responsibilities as Project Manager will include working with Sales Account Managers to gain an understanding of the project including technical requirements and timelines and working closely with Account Management, Pre-Sales, Solutions Design and Customer Support to ensure seamless and professional project service delivery. You will create an agreed project delivery plan which defines outcomes, deliverables, timelines and responsibilities and manage customer stakeholder engagement to ensure expectations are aligned in terms of areas of responsibility. You will manage the project from customer acceptance to project completion, ensuring ongoing evaluation against budget, providing prompt and regular feedback to stakeholders and manage any issues and potential risks. You will also work with the Professional Services Manager to drive project team accountability to ensure on time, on budget quality project outcomes, customer satisfaction and conduct thorough post project reviews.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar technical project management role within the IT sector and hold Prince 2 and ITIL certifications. You will have sound IT knowledge, ideally within infrastructure, excellent customer services skills and enjoy building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The salary on offer for the role is up to £50,000 per annum + benefits
