An opportunity has arisen for you, an experienced QA Engineer with commercial experience working with Java to join the team of a fantastic company based in the Reading area. These girls and guys are all about helping hospital use their data to do good things in the world. Built specifically to work with and support the NHS, they’re a good outfit trying to streamline lifesaving care through data.

You’ll have the opportunity to join a close knit, supportive team with a multitude of interesting and exciting projects to go at. They’ve already a strong Automation function, what they need is a highly technical manual tester, with some exposure to Java, selenium or similar who can help them understand what to automate next.

Their after someone who understands you test manually first, and isn’t afraid to do the hard work then automate second.

This company is looking for a solid QA Engineer, but at the same time do not expect you to have knowledge of every technology. What is important is that you can admit to gaps in your knowledge and be open to learning and improving. Ultimately, you need to be very strong with Manual testing, and have experience with some automation technologies.
