Job Description

Our client is seeking a QA Manager to support and improve their testing procedures.

You will be working closely with a small dedicated development team to ensure the products are of the highest quality for our clients.

Role specific accountabilities

Maintain measurements to track quality standards over time in all products;

Manage automated regression testing;

Create and maintain manual test cases for testers;

Create and maintain an overall testing strategy for all products;

Provide KPI’s to management demonstrating current quality standards;

Provide training internally to testers to support provided test cases;

Manage internal testing with provided testing resources;


A sound general level of academic education, a minimum of English and Mathematics GCSE grade C;

ISEB Test Certificate, ISTQB Software Testing Qualification or equivalent;


Good, accurate keyboard skills and ICT competence;

Analytical and problem solving skills;

Excellent attention to detail;

Able to work as an effective team member;

Ability to work under pressure;

Good organisation skills;

Excellent communication skills;

Excellent documentation skills;


Proven experience in software testing role;

Experience in writing test plans;

Experience in creating manual test scripts;

Experience in automated test writing in systems such as Selenium;      

Experienced in testing methodologies
