Candidates need to be comfortable coming to the office at short notice.QA Software Tester required to join a fast-growing web & digital software specialist based in the Southampton area. Our client is a technology innovator working with some huge brand names including Sony, BBC, O2, Just East, Odeon, John Lewis, to name just a few. The technology team consists of product managers, software engineers, testers and DevOps engineer all working together with the latest tools and technologies.

As a QA Tester you will work alongside the internal engineering and production team performing both manual testing and developing automated tests. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive understanding of testing including topics such as accessibility, performance and security testing.

Key Skills Responsibilities:

Creation of test plans for new releases
Functional testing of new functionality
Regression testing existing application prior to major releases
Creation of automated tests
Collaboration with engineers to provide solutions for areas such as accessibility
Working Engineers and DevOps on performance testing.
Working with stakeholders to create and maintain testing strategies and procedures for web platforms.Core Requirements:

Experience with automated testing
Experience with cross browser testing
Selenium
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and how testing fits in
