A core part of this is our website, which provides clients with information on our service, the stock market, news, and education. Hargreaves Lansdown is looking for a talented and enthusiastic React developer to join our team that's focused on building, maintaining, and improving the Pensions section of our website.
About the role
The Pensions Product Team is tasked with the following goals:
To deliver the Investment Strategy components of the HL strategy, and maintain this capability to enable HL to meet its long-term ambition to become the world's leading digital wealth management platform
What you will be doing
Building client facing solutions within the Pensions Product team that will be hosted within a new cloud environment within the AWS platform. The UI will be built using React and will call a collection of RESTful APIs that will be also hosted within AWS and developed within the Pensions Product team.
Developing code with scalability, performance, and usability in mind.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code consistency and adherence to coding standards.
Building React UI that adhere to our design system
Essential experience
Development of client facing front-end using React hosted within AWS
Javascript
Familiarisation of continuous integration, build pipelines and source code management tools (e.g. Git)
Solid understanding of development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
Desirable Experience
Typescript.
OAuth and OIDC.
Netlify.
Next.js.
Working schedule
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch.
