Research Software Engineer essential requirements

Proficiency in C++ and Python
Experience in researching and developing data compression and signal processing algorithms (e.g., video, image, etc.), gained through university research and/or industry roles;
Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science 

Research Software Engineer desirable skills 

Understanding of existing coding standards such as AVC, HEVC, VVC, VP9, AV1 or equivalent;

Salary: £50k – £80k
