    Job Description

    Residential Installation Engineer

    Salary £30,000 – £40,000

    Location – London in the main, Southeast and some UK and Europe travelling as and when required

    Full time permanent role

    We are recruiting for a Residential Installation Engineer on behalf of our client.

    Duties:

    Perform hands on installation work and supervise other employed and contracted engineers in all aspects of AV System and Home Automation installation within the budgeted time and to a high standard including:
    Display equipment
    Multi-room distribution
    Crestron and Lutron hardware installation
    Light dimming systems
    Home Cinema
    Security
    Cable management and making of all standard AV / IT connectors
    Equipment mounting, fixing and cable running
    Rack installation
    Fault finding and commissioning

    Regular communication and accurate recording of job progression, costs and issues with the Technical Support Manager or Project ManagerMaintain your own records showing details of work done and related job reference, and working with the Technical Support Manager to keep an accurate future works calendar
