Sales Director, CPE Networking, Fully Remote

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Sales Director, to work fully-remotely and join a leading European designer and manufacturer of customer premises equipment (CPE) targeted for residential full fibre networks.

What will I be doing?

Leading and directing a small sales and technical team, the Sales Director will take responsibility for growing and strengthening the Network Operator and ISP business in the UK. Principally this will be a "hands-on" position, identifying and targeting new customers, attending relevant events and exhibitions, providing RFQ/RFI/RFP material to new and existing customers, negotiating contracts, preparing sales quotes, conducting customer workshops, etc.  The Sales Director will also maintain and develop existing customer relationships, and will work with peers, customers and the CTO, to drive and develop new product ideas.

Compensation/Benefits include:

A basic salary to c.110k
A car allowance of 5k
A commission scheme delivering to 30-40% of salary
25 Days' holiday
Pension contribution
All travel expenses covered

The ideal candidate will have…

Strong experience from a similar role within the sale of technical products
The proven ability to set up and expand key accounts  – small, medium and large
Any experience of leading/directing a small, but highly-performing team
Experience of developing relationships with fibre operators/the service provider industry would be of huge advantage
An understanding of broadband/connectivity, FTTH/FTTP, routers, wi-fi, routing protocols, etc. would also be advantageous
