SAP Release & Environment Manager Contract 6-12 Months. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experience SAP Release & Environment Manager to join them on a contract basis for 6-12 months.

The role involves working in the SAP Team to deliver Multiple Projects and Programmes on the SAP platform stack. The SAP teams operates in a Waterfall Manner delivering changes for multiple projects and Programmes. The Release Managers role is responsible for ensuring that all planned changes from the SAP Team have all the appropriate/necessary approvals to allow the change to deploy successfully into the Production environments. As part of the Environment Management work you need to Sure the Projects and Programmes have the necessary Environments available to ensure there are no delays in project delivery.

Successful candidates will have experience Working with the SAP Development teams & PMs to ensure STG & TS requirements are embedded into the project plan. You will be working with the SAP Development Team & PMs to ensure Security Change requirements are embedded into the project plan. Coordination's of all release within the SAP Factory. You will have good knowledge of SAP infrastructure, Transport Management system. Working with client PMs for the provisioning of environments to support the ongoing demand. You will be expected to be working with client PMs for deployment resource assignments while ensuring there is adequate RFS cover. Working with SAP Development team/PM to ensure Code Bases are consistent between the environments. You will be Working with client testing partner Support team to ensure resources are available for the deployments into Production. Ensuring change tickets are raised for all upcoming deployments. Fully understand the change process with my client. Build a good working relationship with Key Technology Services representatives. (SDM & Heads of Service) Working with the SAP development Team/PM to ensure all areas of support are covered to ensure transition into the Production environment is seamless.
