Job Title: 2nd Line Support Engineer
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
My client are a fast-growing technology company in Daresbury and are seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in providing technical support to join a dynamic and innovative organisation.
Provide second line technical support to clients via telephone, email, and remote access.
Troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware issues.
Resolve more complex issues that have been escalated from the 1st line support team.
Ensure all client issues are logged and tracked in the ticketing system.
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they are kept informed of progress and resolution.
Provide training and guidance to clients on the use of the company's products and services.
Participate in the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualisation, and networking.Key Requirements:
Experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm or MSP.
Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing software and hardware issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with remote access tools such as TeamViewer and Remote Desktop.
Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office products.
Experience in networking, virtualisation, and servers.
A relevant IT qualification would be an advantage.
