REMOTE ROLE

Role: Security analyst
Client: Cheshire East Council
Day Rate: max £250 (inside IR35)
Duration: 3 months

Our Security Analysts are foremost problem-solvers passionate about ensuring Cyber Security, and we seek talented, enthusiastic and tech-savvy individuals to work with our SecOps and delivery teams to ensure the security of our estate.

Responsibilities

* Plan preventative measures and procedures

* Create a plan for how to respond to threats

* Establish and implement security measures

* Monitor alerts

* Investigate and respond to any security incidents

* Provide training on information security and network security procedures

* Effectively communicate with third parties such as partners and customers regarding technical issues and customer inquiries, both orally and in writing.

* Developing playbooks, orchestration and deployment procedures.

* Deployment of security campaigns.

* Document work instructions.

* Working to time critical deadlines

* Own each incident from initial creation to resolution.

* Collaborate with other support team members.

* Use acquired knowledge to suggest, edit, and write in-depth Knowledge Base articles.
