Security Cleared Citrix Architect/Citrix Consultant (VMware/VDI/WVD/Application Virtualisation/Desktop Virtualisation) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 3 months rolling contract, to be based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK, with some home working (hybrid working), with customer site visits.

Responsibilities & Skills:

The successful applicant will be an technical Architect with extensive and User Access Device solution design and delivery experience
Experience of Application & Desktop Virtualisation technologies (e.g. Citrix/VMware/VDI/WVD), Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, VMWare Horizon, Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD)/VDI
Your role as the User Access Device Architect will involve collaborating within the wider multi-skilled team and orientated to owning the delivery of work packages throughout the lifecycle.
As the User Access Device Architect, you will report into the Solution Owner, you will own the overall design through the production and delivery of design (HLD/LLD), documentation and the maintenance of design and support documentation, and ensure designs produced can pass review and governance.
Extensive experience of integrating business and technology goals with user needs into innovative design solutions.
Development of project deliverable documentation, including design, build and operations guides
Knowledge of operation management, systems security, testing, and mobility considerations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, specifically Identity & Access Management (IAM), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
Demonstrably operates as the overall infrastructure Customer Solution Architect for large, complex solutions.
Authors design and test documents for large, complex infrastructures, whose risk and cost elements are accepted by the overall CSA or Project Manager.This is an urgent requirement; please apply as soon as possible if you would like to be considered.
