Security Systems Engineer
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the Wilson James Technology Services team as a Security Systems Engineer, Technology Services provide installation and ongoing maintenance support services for our extensive client list. As a Security Systems Engineer, you will be assisting with effective call resolution and work with coordinators and procurement to provide updates to calls and any remedials, service-related fault investigations and repairs across all Wilson James sites as required as part of the investigations. You will carry out and document all security systems site maintenances in line with the pre-defined PPM schedules and act as the front-line contact whilst on site for all Wilson James clients.
This role is predominantly London and home counties based but occasional travel may be required at times, this role is vital to maintaining our strong relationships with our clients whilst delivering a trusted and dependable service.
The right candidate will receive enterprise training, tools, work vehicle and a corporate benefit package. There is no call out responsibility with this role.

Essential Skills
* Good communication skills and ability to report to client and co-ordinator on all aspects of work.
* Ability to investigate and rectify faults across multiple disciplines from access control, CCTV, Intruder detection systems and others.
* Good knowledge of network fundamentals and ability to fault find to a good standard on network equipment.
* Deliver excellent customer service
* Good IT Skills
* Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
* Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
* Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
* Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
* Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
* Good knowledge and understanding of all the above systems and experience on enterprise level access control and VMS platforms is desirable.
