SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS DEVELOPER
Grafton Recruitment are looking to recruit a Senior Business Systems Developer to join a leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair and operating products.
As part of their long-term commitment to quality and continued growth, they are looking to recruit an additional Senior Business Systems Developer who is willing to grow, perform and deliver exceptional service for our customers.
As a Senior Business Systems Developer you will be required to:
The role will lead the Company's UK and International business operations by the distribution of prioritised tasks relating to developments for both new and existing software and business systems, working more complex tasks with provided specifications and development needs, reporting into the Software Development Manager.
What will you do on a normal day?
Uploaded into the code repository (GitLab) and that technical information is tagged to the correct project.
Receive assignment of tasks day to day contribution of the Software Development, Documentation to enhance application understanding to mitigate risk(s).
Raising training requirements and agreeing training days with the development manager.
Consistently deliver the highest standards of service required by the business.
Contribute towards development code reviews as a part of the software development lifecycle and peer programming for every release into production.
Champion changes within the team and wider department to ensure best practices and security measures are applied to our own in-house developments as well as third party integrations.
Actively contributing towards development of tools, services, processes, and platforms and alerting stakeholders when projects are subject to be compromised from original delivery date.
Regularly contribute to the ongoing improvement of team practices and ways of working.
You will understand the detail, be able to pick up and work with the team delivering a game changing solution.What are we looking for?
