ApplauseIT are looking for several experienced Senior Data Engineer(s) to join a large and still growing Software Technology and Digital Services Consultancy. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing data solution to be capable at handling the scaling quantity of data. Important to this position is leadership as being a Senior you will be expected to provide mentorship to less experienced individuals in the team.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be creating digital solutions which impact on people's lives, while working on/with a variety of technologies. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior individual keen to further progress their career with progression opportunities.

The successful Senior Data Engineer will ideally have the following:

Strong Python programming ability
Experience with SQL and ideally NoSQL Databases
Vast experience / Knowledge of ETL / ELT processing / streaming pipelines
Experience with data storage technologies such as Hadoop/Spark
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
