Job Description

IntaPeople are partned with a global market leader within their industry who due to exciting growth and investment towards their Data Science and Machine Learning projects now require a Senior Data Scientist to join their Manchester team.

You will be working along aside an established team of data scientists, and will contribute heavily to driving innovation, setting standards, and motivating of best practices and developing methodologies in data science , machine learning, computer vision, optimisation and natural language processing.

Working with the wider business you will contribute to the expansion of the organisations capability to deliver robust and rigorously tested data analytics and data science-based solutions across the industries, leveraging data platform infrastructure developed internally.

Role and Responsibilities include:

Contribute to the leadership of, and help build, an existing team of data scientists.

Build collaborative and functional relationships with peers in technical, business leadership and business development roles, evangelising the impacts and values of data science solutions.

Coordinate with centrally developed data platform architectures for the delivery of data analytics and insight to our clients.

Preparation of bids and contributing to business development, creating and evolving relationships with internal and external clients.

Support and guide more junior team members in developing their careers in Data Science

Working closely with stakeholders and client to delivery against projects and sales

About you:

Experience in Data Analytics and Data Science, including machine learning and cloud-based large scale data analysis.

Strong experience programming with Python

Exposure to other languages such as Java, C, Scala or Haskell

Knowledge of Deep Learning Frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or MXNet.

The ability to identify, translate, and deploy data science solutions that are useful and successful for clients, end users, and other stakeholders

Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying reusable analytical products and services.

Experience delivering project using AGILE working practices

The ability to mentor and coach junior members of the team
