    Location: Cambridge (CB25)
    Duration: Permanent
    Hours: 8:30am until 5pm (Monday to Friday)
    Salary: £50,000 to £70,000

    Polytec are looking for a motivated, experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer for our Cambridge based client.

    Responsibilities:

    * Develop embedded software for customer deployment, proof of concept, research or internal use
    * Create, review and contribute to design specifications and product documentation
    * Develop, unit test and integrate new software functionality
    * Regression / functional / QA

    Requirements:

    * Degree in Computer science / Electronics
    * Logical approach to design and problem solving
    * Experience with GNU / Linux, C++ and object-oriented design / programming
    * Excellent communication skills able to contribute new ideas
    * Multithreaded and asynchronous programming
    * Python, Bash, Docker, Git
