Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer
Senior infrastructure Engineer providing support and maintaining core infrastructure of the foundation. As the Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be delivering IT infrastructure, cloud based (Azure), Network and server projects and managing the day-to-day operations of the IT Infrastructure.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. & update the whole IT infrastructure
2. cloud technologies.
1. and manage Servers, VM’s, Storage, Network equipment
1. all system are patched and maintained appropriately and within the Information Security framework
1. monthly updates on system operational and security status to the and work closely with the Director of IT to ensure systems are operating efficiently and securely
2. and create the necessary processes and designs documentations and assist in building knowledge base
1. and be a point of contact for the 2nd / 3rd line support
2. manage, infrastructure and support.
1. escalated support and liaise with third party service providers to resolve challenging issues
1. project technical specification, requirements and knowledge
1. and support technical designs of projects
2. automation of repeated processes
PERSON SPECIFICATION
1. experienced in the design and maintenance of Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Site & Services
2. experienced in public cloud infrastructure services in Azure (IAAS, Azure AD, Storage, Networking etc.)
3. Software & Infrastructure (VMware / Hyper-V), Experience/ knowledge of Microsoft clustering technologies
4. experienced in Microsoft environment- (Office365/ MS Teams/ MDM/ Azure AD/ Microsoft Servers)
1. DevOps exposure would be desirable.
1. in Scripting – PowerShell
2. in Large Multi-Domain (MS AD) environments
3. of Networking. IP, DNS, etc
4. in Microsoft SCCM, InTune and Windows Patch Management
5. Exchange (2010 or upwards)
1. understanding and knowledge of MDM (InTune, Jamf) for Apple, Android and Microsoft environments
2. understanding of Apple technologies
1. experience of networking, switching, security, and firewall
2. Information Security experience, infosec incident management, infosec system monitoring and investigation
3. degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Salary: £45k – £55k
