Job Description
Hybrid role, working hours Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm

Excellent career development Working for this well-established organisation, you will be maintaining and supporting IT systems for the business including daily technical support to the office, troubleshooting issues, as well as working on larger projects. You will be based on site for 3 days per week, however, there may be times when you need to be in the office to support business needs. You will have real autonomy in the role on a day-to-day basis but work collaboratively with management when needed.
Duties will include:
Delivering IT support to internal users
Managing suppliers and budgets to ensure services are running smoothly
Maintenance, support and upgrade of systems
Installing and maintaining IT hardware, software and networks
Developing standard operating procedures and maintaining documentation such as user manuals, contracts and licence agreements
Helping to develop and implement all IT policies and procedures in line with ISO certifications, including architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision
Maintaining current inventory of IT hardware, software and resources
Procurement of new equipment and software, making informed recommendations to management We are looking for candidates with:
Strong communication skills who can build relationships internally

Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands of the business
A commercial awareness and ability to work within budgets
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, taking ownership
An understanding of GDPR and data protection
Proven knowledge and practical experience of Virtualization technologies, Windows Server, SQL Server, Office 365, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Firewall, Antivirus management and VOIP systems If you are currently working in an IT support or technician role and are looking for greater autonomy and development into a more senior position, this may be the next step for you.
