Senior IT Support Engineer

Type: Contract

Day Rate: €230-€280/day depending on experience

Location: Dublin

My client are seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in IT support and possess exceptional technical skills in a variety of areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to end-users, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users, including software, hardware, and network issues
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes
Mentor and train junior technicians
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT support
Strong technical skills in a variety of areas, including hardware, software, and network systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Relevant certifications are a plus.
