IntaPeople are proud to be partnered with a global supplier of ground-breaking software services. Due to the continued growth and a re-structure within the business they now require an experienced Senior/Lead Software Developer (with a small amount of leadership/people management skills)  to join the team.

You will have full involvement in architectural decisions, planning and technical leadership within the core team. You will work on cutting edge technologies and utilise technologies such as AWS, Java, Salesforce, JavaScript and MuleSoft within the integrations team. This role can be described as a 70/30 split between hands-on development and people leadership/management.

Essential skills/experience:

5+ years of software development experience

Proven experience working with technologies such as Java, C++, .Net or similar

Proven experience designing and using RESTful web service API

Experience providing leadership to small teams (4-6+)

Experience with using source control management systems such as Git

Responsibilities:

Baic People management of 4-6 developers (at various levels)

Responsible for the technical leadership, direction, and oversight of the integrations team

Provide hands-on technical skills across multiple platforms

Working closely with the Head of Engineering and CTO

Supporting the further delivery and operational team

Actively participate in meetings (including customers, stakeholders, and other peers)

Oversee the work of external developers within the delivery team

Mentor junior developers and support the QA function

The Team Lead will work closely as part of a Agile development delivery team whilst being involved in creating high quality software within a fast paced, results-oriented environment.

Desirable skills/experience:

Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins or similar

Experience working with an AGILE team using SCRUM

Experience using AWS services or cloud technologies

Experience with Salesforce or MuleSoft

Experience with container orchestration systems like Docker/Kubernetes

Role overview:

Senior Developer / Software Team lead (70/30 split)

Cardiff City Centre (with onsite parking)

A competitive salary of £60,000 – £68,000 (depending on experience)

25 days annual leave + Christmas + BH
