The client is a rapidly growing Insuretech startup focused on providing innovative cyber reinsurance solutions. Their mission is to leverage cutting-edge technology, data-driven insights, and industry expertise to revolutionize the way organizations manage and mitigate cyber risks. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), semantic search, knowledge base creation, and generative.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

Develop, implement, and optimize state-of-the-art machine learning models for NLP, semantic search, knowledge base creation, and generative AI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and domain experts, to understand business requirements and develop tailored AI solutions.
Conduct research on the latest advancements in NLP, semantic search, and generative AI to identify new opportunities and improve existing models and systems.
Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines to ingest, transform, and analyse large volumes of unstructured and structured data.
Evaluate the performance of machine learning models using appropriate metrics and validation techniques, and fine-tune models as needed.
Ensure the robustness and security of machine learning models and data pipelines, and adhere to best practices for data privacy and protection.
Document model development processes, methodologies, and results to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field; a Masters or Ph.D. is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on NLP, semantic search, knowledge base creation, and generative AI.
Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face
Strong background in statistical modelling, machine learning algorithms, and natural language processing techniques.
Experience with semantic search technologies, such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Elastic or similar platforms.
Familiarity with knowledge graph and knowledge base construction and management.
Proven experience working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks, such as Databricks and Spark.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Authorization to work in the United Kingdom.Nice-to-have:

Experience in the insurance or cybersecurity industry.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.Benefits:
