Job Description

Senior .Net Developer – C#, .Net Core, and RESTful API, WPF – is required by highly successful, fast growth SaaS business. Fully remote.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior .Net Developer to join their growing Software Development team. The successful applicant will work alongside their developers and business stakeholders to deliver high quality, secure and scalable solutions to the business.

The Role

The Senior Developer will be responsible for:

* Developing, testing, and deploying a range of Windows and web-based applications

* Implementing back-end services and APIs on Azure

* Maintaining existing applications

* Implementing solutions that will run in the Azure environment, always adhering to Microsoft best practices

* Implementing Security and Data Protection features within back-end services

* Optimising applications for maximum performance and security

* Promoting adoption of new technologies to simplify processes and solutions

* Building proof of concepts and doing demonstrations

* Staying current with the latest innovations with the Microsoft cloud platform

* Providing cross-over training as required for other Development Team members

Ideal Attributes

The Senior Developer will be someone who:

* Has expert-level knowledge of C#, .Net Core, and RESTful API

* Has expert-level knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and Software Design Patterns

* Strong knowledge of Windows Forms

* Experience working with WPF and MVVM

* Front end web development experience is beneficial (with experience of Angular (v8+) and React)

* Has experience of Git

* Ideally has had some exposure to Azure (not essential)

* Has experience of working in a fast-paced SaaS business

* Has worked on complex bespoke solutions

* Has experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

* Has full SDLC experience, from technical design to deployments to production

* Ideally has some exposure to Jira and Confluence
