Job Description

Senior Project Manager – ERP Implementation | Manufacturing

Bury / Hybrid with occasional UK travel to Midlands unit.

£60k – £70k

12 month Fixed Term Contract

We are working with a Global Manufacturing client (HQ Bury, Gtr. Manchester) who are embarking on a European-wide implementation of Dynamics Business Central ERP, starting with the UK & Ireland.

Full budgetary approval is in place and they are ready to go; so it's exciting times for the Global IT Director and his team as they prepare to launch the latest phase of their Cloud / SaaS Transformation, with this Microsoft D365 BC rollout.

The UK & Ireland stage of the project will set the benchmark for the EMEA and Global ERP rollout; therefore, this is a key role for the Project, meaning we are looking for an experienced, Senior Project Manager with a background of delivering complex, end-to-end ERP implementations into the Cloud – such as Navision, Dynamics or D365 Business Central.

It would be highly advantageous if these projects have been delivered within a Global Manufacturing or Construction business.

This Snr PM role is initially a 12 month FTC to see the UK project through to completion, however has strong potential to extend or convert to a permanent position; as future plans involve the continued rollout through Europe and Worldwide (US & ASIA), replacing 23 regional ERP's with a single solution.

A fantastic opportunity to have a major impact on the delivery of a Global IT transformation.

Reporting directly to the Board, this is a Senior role and perfect for an experienced IT Project Manager / Programme Manager who has ability to build internal relationships, 'rally the troops' and effectively manage, influence and organise stakeholders across a manufacturing business. Expertise in driving change management and motivating teams towards a common goal is essential.

You will also have line-management responsibility for an ERP Business Analyst, to support your role. You'll also work closely with the existing Project Management function, Finance teams and Data Architects.
