Job Description

Senior Security and Compliance Engineer

The client, a global aerospace company who are an industry leader in manufacturing, are looking to add a Senior Security and Compliance Engineer to their team.

The successful candidate will not just be a security engineer but they will also have an understanding of compliance & audits.

Successful candidates will need to have full rights to work within the UK

The following experience is necessary for the role.

Cybersecurity specific certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional and/or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) preferred.
Technical expertise in security knowledge, to include VPN, Firewall, network monitoring, intrusion detection & prevention, web server security, wireless security and cloud security.
Strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
Knowledge of best practices for vetting and securing development code repositories and supply chains.
Direct experience with Microsoft and other cybersecurity tools, monitoring systems and alert frameworks.
Demonstrated experience implementing and managing security policies and systems within a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing a compliance framework for cybersecurity or other disciplines preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within the organisation.
Proven track record and experience in developing information security policies and procedures as well as successfully executing programs that meet high corporate standards for execution.
High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision while being resilient to change.

The role is hybrid and would require 3 days a week in the Duxford based office.
