Pure are delighted to have partnered with a well-known company exclusively as they look to recruit a senior software developer to join their existing team. The company is a leading provider of Digital farming expertise and has the digital platform and services of choice for the farming industry.
This is a remote role.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Develop, test and deploy code with an emphasis on both front-end methodologies and server-side programming within the digital farming platform.
Complete comprehensive documentation to a high standard including specifications and code notes.
Perform testing on developed code (initial and regression) within the dedicated development environment to ensure the smooth release of new functionality.
Support existing users to resolve bugs and events through their entire lifecycle from the first point of contact through to resolution, proactively keeping the customer informed of progress.
Interact with system designers and provide input and feedback in the planning and design process of both new functionality and improvements to existing features.
Collaborate, participate and contribute to the existing team approach to software development and problem solving and being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
Experience in full software development life cycle development (requirements gathering through development and test to maintenance)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to generate high quality, clean code
Experience with service-oriented architecture and web application/services development
C# and ASP.NET software development experience
Experience with SQL Server and database principles
Experience with React.js, Typescript and AngularJS
Experience with RESTful APIs and AOuth 2 authentication
Development experience with GIS software tools and Python
Experience with source code management tools
Experience with Azure desired
