About this role
Also known as a Scrum Master, Software Team Lead.    You enjoy growing your skills and those of your team by regularly learning new technologies. Most importantly, you judge your achievements by the success and happiness of your team and its customers.  You’ll be leading multiple concurrent projects, mentoring and managing Junior Engineers as well as playing a hands-on technical role.

You will have the demonstrated ability to perform appropriate software engineering in more than one language, as well as, the ability to learn new languages, platforms, technologies, techniques and approaches.  Plus…
–    A track record of leading teams to deliver multiple projects. 
–    Familiar with an Agile/Scrum environment, DevOps, software testing, and working with open source software.
Although your primary role will be development and project lead, you’ll also have opportunities to work on various cloud platforms and more specialist areas such as AI/ML, Big Data, etc.

Hybrid Working
The majority of Roke positions accommodate hybrid working.  60% Concentration (work from home) and 40% Collaboration (office based).   Our staff average two days a week in the office, the days you will be in the office are determined by the business needs and should average out to two days per week.
