    Job Description

    A key client of ours are going through a hyper-growth phase and are looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Chorley, on a permanent basis. My client is flexible in terms of hybrid/remote working.

    My client works in markets and with customers all over the world so this is a very exciting opportunity.

    As Senior Software Engineer, the following skillset and experience will be required:

    – At least 5 years experience in at least one of the following technologies; Java, Spring Boot, Maven, GIT, Junit, SQL, React, TypeScript, Jest

    – At least 2 years experience writing in Java in a similar position

    – Proven experience of Software Development projects

    – Willing and able to mentor

    Desirable Requirements of the Senior Software Engineer:

    – A minimum 2:1 Degree in Computer/IT-related discipline

    – An active GitHub profile with a keen interest in Java

    The successful Senior Software Engineer will be paid up to £70,000 per annum.
